For the first time ever Arran is running School Holiday classes in 2025.

All classes are taught by Arran - professional creative with over 25 years experience in the field and a current WWVP license.

Classes run from 9am - 3pm at the ACThub theatre in Causeway
DIGITAL ART FOR BEGINNERS - a two day class introducing the wonders of Digital art through the incredible Australian-made app 'Procreate' Over the two days students will learn basics of the program from the ground up. Designed to get even the most novice of novices comfortable with using the program and ready to create magic with it

As much as I would like to be in a position to have iPads and Apple Pencils to share for this class - we're not quite there yet. So a requirement of this class is an iPad with and Apple Pencil and a copy of Procreate.

Please provide lunch (no nuts) . Light morning and afternoon tea will be provided. ​

Spen two days creating a character that we will put into a book that we'll print on Friday. On day one we will look at building an appealing character - body shapes, faces, hands, feet, eyes - all the fun stuff.
On Friday we'll finalise a character, come up with a fun description and then we'll scan and print a book with everyones character to take home. So not only will the students learn to draw they will also get to see how fun it is to make their own book.
Students are encoruage to bring sketchbooks and art materials if they have them but there will be some on offer as well. No real requirements for this one other than a keen sense of enthusiasm and fun.
